In the Lviv region, an official of the regional MSEC is suspected of hiding millions in assets
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) have notified a high-ranking official of the Lviv Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission of suspicion. She is suspected of declaring false information worth millions of hryvnias.
This was reported by the SBI.
In particular, she did not declare in her 2023 report that she uses a 2023 BMW X5 and a 2023 Mercedes GLE, which are registered to her relatives. The total value of the cars amounts to nearly 6 million hryvnias. She also "rents" a parking space located in her home.
The official is suspected of declaring false information (Part 1, Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The article’s sanction provides for a penalty of up to two years of imprisonment. The suspect has also been served a motion for a preventive measure in the form of bail and suspension from her position.
