The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked the Kherson region with artillery and drones: 8 injured

The armed forces of the aggressor country, Russia, launched drone and artillery strikes on settlements in the Kherson region on Tuesday afternoon, November 12. Eight people were injured due to the shelling. The villages of Havrylivka in the Beryslav district, Stanislav, Zelenivka, and Veletenske in the Kherson district were affected.

The consequences of the attack were reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the regional prosecutor’s office, and the Kherson City Military Administration. Around 11:00, the occupiers struck Havrylivka.

They used drones, and a senior man was injured due to an explosive device being dropped.

The 77-year-old resident sustained blast trauma, shrapnel wounds to the chest, arms, face, and a concussion.

The injured man was hospitalized for medical care, informed the RMA.

As of 16:08, the Kherson RMA reported that a 70-year-old local resident was injured in the village of Stanislav in the Kherson district due to a Russian drone attack.

An explosive device was dropped on the man. The victim was diagnosed with blast trauma, a concussion, shrapnel wounds to the head, chest, arms, and legs.

Currently, he is in the hospital receiving necessary medical assistance, reported the regional administration.

An hour later, the RMA reported that three more people who suffered from the shelling of Zelenivka in the Kherson district were taken to the hospital.

A 31-year-old woman was diagnosed with blast trauma, injuries, and leg fractures. Two men, aged 62 and 31, received blast trauma and concussions.

Additionally, around 15:00, the Russian army attacked Veletenske in the Kherson district, reported the RMA.

A 37-year-old man, who was in the house, was injured there. He sustained blast trauma, a concussion, and a shrapnel wound to the forehead.

The ambulance took him to the hospital for medical assistance.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that in Zelenivka, two women aged 54 and 86 were also injured. They were hospitalized.

In total, eight residents of the Kherson region have been injured as a result of Russian attacks.
