In the occupied Mariupol and Berdyansk, explosions were heard at night: the invaders’ air defence systems were active

This was reported by Telegram of the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andryushchenko.

Mariupol

Around 23:15, enemy air defence systems were active around the city.

"Two launches were registered near the Central District (Mariupol airport) and in the area of the village of Vynohradne (Left Bank District)," he noted.

In the morning, the Russian Ministry of Defence already claimed about allegedly 10 UAVs shot down over the Sea of Azov.

Berdyansk and District

From 23:10 to 00:30, explosions were heard in Berdyansk and the district, with enemy air defense activity recorded.

"One of the epicenters was in the area of Novopetrivka (Berdyansk District, near Berdyansk, the location of a training ground)," the mayor’s advisor reported.

In general, according to Andryushchenko, a chain of echeloned work by Russian air defense along the Azov Sea zone of the Mariupol-Berdyansk agglomeration becomes clear.
