According to local media, the shooting was carried out by a former serviceman who was not mobilized due to health reasons.

In the Zakarpattia region, in the city of Khust, a shooting occurred near the local Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center. The man who came to the TRC fired several shots into the air and then entered the building.

"In Khust, a man opened fire near the TRSC and threw a smoke grenade. Law enforcement detained him and are currently investigating all the circumstances," the report states.

Eyewitnesses claim he used a noise pistol. After the shots, the man shouted "Glory to Ukraine" and "Everything will be Ukraine".

Later, media reported that the shooting was carried out by a former serviceman. He was discharged from service due to health reasons.

The ex-serviceman was outraged by the refusal of mobilization and came to the military commissariat with a noise pistol.

The information about the shooting was confirmed by the spokesperson for the National Police in the Zakarpattia region, Hanna Dan, reports "Suspilne". Law enforcement detained him at the scene of the incident. There were no injuries. The man was held administratively liable under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
