In DeepState, the command was accused in the situation around Kurakhove
According to analysts, the greatest burden of the consequences is borne by the fighters who, at the cost of their lives, try to contain an advance that is reported to higher-ups as "repelled."
The Ukrainian command does not have complete information about the situation around the city of Kurakhove in the Donetsk region, as it receives "uncertain reports." Analysts from DeepState reported this on their Telegram channel on November 15.
According to them, north of the city, Russians are trying to consolidate in the village of Sontsivka and completely occupy it. The Russian Armed Forces also exert pressure on Novoselydivka.
"However, the main focus of the northern front of Kurakhove is on the segment Berestky - Illinka. Despite statements and refutations based on unreliable reports that are sent to higher-ups, Illinka is occupied, and individual infantry units have been visually spotted in the Berestky area. The enemy’s goal in this area is to reach Stari Terny," the analysts wrote.
They note that the eastern outskirts of Kurakhove itself are under constant pressure from the Russians, who conduct regular assaults and attempt to infiltrate the city’s outskirts by landing infantry and entrenching in the private sector.
"One of the recent assaults ended in success and consolidation in school No. 3, but at this moment, the building has already been cleared of the enemy," DeepState reports.
The analysts paid special attention to the situation between the villages of Dalne and Uspenivka, particularly the "pocket" formed along the line Antonivka - Katerynivka - Yelyzavetivka - Illinka - Romanivka Hannivka. It is under threat, and soon the enemy may gain control over it as they persistently try to break through Dalne to Uspenivka and are making progress.
Uspenivka, according to the analysts, plays an important role in logistics and in controlling the situation for Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the "pocket."
"Once again, we have an issue with reports sent to higher-ups that do not reflect reality, which is likely the cause of the lack of attention to the flank problems in this area. The situation is deteriorating, and it may happen one day that the enemy reaches Uspenivka, but by then it will be too late," DeepState noted.
South of Kurakhove, the situation remains unchanged; the enemy tries to advance along the Yasna Polyana-Maksymivka segment toward the N15 Zaporizhzhya-Donetsk highway, which, in the future, could lead to the disruption of Ukrainian Armed Forces units’ logistics, taking it, at a minimum, under fire control.
