The command of the Russian army is sending infantry units into battles in the Pokrovsk direction. They are currently conducting attacks without the use of armored vehicles due to the active use of drones by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was reported by a serviceman of the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade with the call sign "Hus." On the air of the "Kyiv24" TV channel, he spoke about the situation on this section of the front in the Donetsk region.

According to him, over the past four months of fighting, there has been no noticeable increase in FPV drones among Russian occupiers. However, the activity of their use is high both in the Defence Forces and the enemy.

It is precisely because of such drones that the use of heavy equipment by the occupiers – tanks, APCs – on the front line near Pokrovsk is currently impossible.

"Birds" are being used intensively by both sides. The enemy has practically ceased using armored vehicles at the front line until recently and has started to massively deploy infantry, as armored vehicles simply could not reach the drop-off point," the serviceman explained.
