The Ministry of Development reports a critical heating situation in Kryvyi Rih

This was reported by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.

«Currently, 934 residential buildings, 11 healthcare facilities, including Kryvyi Rih City Hospital No. 16 with inpatient services, 43 educational institutions, and a territorial social protection center remain without heating in the city. This affects about 110,000 residents who still lack heat supply», the report states.

It is noted that the heating situation in Kryvyi Rih was discussed at an urgent meeting conducted by the First Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development, Vasyl Shkurakov.

He received reports on the situation from city authorities, the regional military administration, representatives of NJSC "Naftogaz", and Kryvyi Rih CHP and instructed an emergency plan to restore heat supply for all consumers to be prepared as quickly as possible. The plan should include clear timelines, responsible individuals, and a mechanism for daily reporting.

«All responsible parties must act as efficiently as possible to resolve the issue in the shortest possible time. The provision of heat to the homes of Kryvyi Rih residents must be restored without delay», emphasized Shkurakov.

The responsibility for solving the heating issue rests at all levels: the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development, NJSC "Naftogaz", Dnipro Regional Military Administration, and city authorities. Additionally, the heating supply issue in Kryvyi Rih will remain under the constant supervision of the heating season preparation headquarters.

Currently, the State Emergency Service together with local authorities are ready to set up additional resilience points if necessary.
