In Odesa, the deputy head of the regional patrol police was involved in a traffic accident

The patrol police stated that on November 17, in Odesa, at the intersection of Mykola Lysenko and Oleksiy Vadaturksyi streets, a traffic accident occurred involving Mitsubishi and Suzuki cars with casualties.

Thus, the driver of the Mitsubishi car was moving along Oleksiy Vadaturksyi Street towards Itzhak Rabin Street and did not yield to the Suzuki car, resulting in a collision.

The passenger of the Suzuki car was indeed the deputy chief of the department, who sustained injuries. His wife, who was driving the car, was also injured,
– the law enforcement officers emphasized.

The police also noted that the driver of the Mitsubishi car was under the influence of alcohol. The Suzuki driver was sober, according to the medical report.

"The circumstances and details of this accident are also confirmed by the eyewitnesses who were present at the scene," the statement says.

The patrol police also emphasized that the investigation of the accident was handled by an investigative-operational group, and the investigation is still ongoing.

Law enforcement officers also urged not to spread false information and to trust verified official sources.
