Temporary suspension of the blockade of border checkpoints with Ukraine by Polish farmers – protest actions may resume in December and be significantly larger in scale.

This was stated by one of the protest leaders, Roman Kondrov, reports pap.pl.

During the negotiations, agreements were reached; the farmers are to present their demands to the Ministry of Agriculture by Tuesday, November 26, to which Sekerski promised to respond by December 10.

"What, when, and how will be decided – these demands cannot be fulfilled immediately, they require the adoption of a number of normative decisions, therefore, it will be a schedule of task execution with deadlines," – the minister clarified.

For their part, the farmers expect, among other things, that the Polish government and parliament will oppose the free trade agreement between the European Union and South American countries.

"We will suspend the protest action, but we will not abandon it. If the agreements are not fulfilled, we will return, and it will be a massive protest action along the entire eastern border of Poland," – Kondrov emphasized.

Currently, the passage of all categories of vehicles in this direction is carried out in regular mode.
