The Russian invaders have only seven kilometers left to reach the administrative borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was written by military blogger, serviceman of the 24th Assault Battalion "Aidar" Stanislav Bunyatov with the callsign "Osman".
"There are 7 kilometers left to the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region. More than a year of calm, but the direction of Velyka Novosilka was not prepared for defense. Furthermore, due to this mistake, normal defense lines on the Zaporizhzhya direction can be bypassed just like in Ocheretyne," the military writes.
According to him, "seeing how the front line is crumbling, not mining the front line and not building quality fortifications is pure idiocy".
"If fortifications are being built somewhere, it’s by civil contractors who dig unarranged trenches by the ordered mileage where it’s easier, not where it’s needed... Of course, why have these lines in the forest belts behind Pokrovsk, Velyka Novosilka, and other key cities when it’s hard to dig there, you can do it in the field, 100 kilometers from the front, where money will be ’mastered’ faster and safer," the military message states.
At the same time, as noted by the military blogger, a lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the callsign "Alex", who runs the Telegram channel "Officer", on the stretch from Huliaipole to Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region, Russian troops have significantly increased offensive actions.
"Do not think that if Velyka Novosilka is in the Donetsk region, it will be limited to that. The distance to the Zaporizhzhya and Dnipropetrovsk regions’ border is very short, considering the pace of the Russians’ advance. The occupiers are already penetrating Velyka Novosilka and urgent stabilization actions need to be taken now, because on an operational scale the failure there could be costly, to the point that the fortifications in Zaporizhzhya could simply be bypassed," it is stated on the "Officer" channel.
