Ukraine received 4.8 billion dollars from the World Bank as part of the PEACE in Ukraine project.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, on Telegram on November 27.
He noted that this is the largest investment project in the bank’s history, created to support Ukraine in implementing reforms in the social and educational sectors, healthcare, agro-producers, and recovery projects.
The head of government also mentioned that in total, during Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, nearly 50 billion dollars have been raised for the state budget through World Bank mechanisms.
