In the Kurakhove direction, intense battles continue, and the enemy has not abandoned plans to occupy Kurakhove. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have managed to stabilize the situation on this part of the front.
This was reported to OBOZ.UA by the military analyst of the "Information Resistance" group, Oleksandr Kovalenko.
According to him, on the side of the Kurakhove reservoir in the north and Sukhi Yaly in the south, the aggressor’s forces have slowed down.
Interestingly, in the south, the enemy has decreased the pace of the offensive in areas of populated settlements, which became the main obstacle to their breakthrough to the 05010 highway. It was from this road that the enemy planned to push off for further attacks in the Kurakhove direction.
Regarding the situation directly in Kurakhove, Kovalenko noted that the enemy has not managed to expand their control zone, although the Russian army regularly carries out mechanized attacks on the city.
Attempts to break through into the center also remain futile; despite this, the occupying forces continue to regularly attack Ukrainian positions, suffering significant losses in the process.
