The occupiers entered Novyi Komar, located north of Velyka Novosilka

Russian troops have entered the settlement of Novyi Komar, located north of Velyka Novosilka, reports a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign Alex.

"This significantly complicates the situation for our troops in this area," writes Alex.

Official sources of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not confirmed the advance of Russian forces in this region.

It should be noted that Novyi Komar is located north of Velyka Novosilka. If it is captured by the Russians, it may lead to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Velyka Novosilka being semi-encircled.

The capture of Novyi Komar could also open the way for further advancement of Russian troops westward towards the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya regions, posing a threat to Ukrainian forces on the southern front.
