As part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, it was possible to return six more children from the temporarily occupied territories.
This was reported in Telegram by the adviser to the Head of the Office of the President and Chief Operating Officer of Bring Kids Back UA, Dariya Zarivna.
«Six more children were returned to Ukraine from the TOT as part of the presidential initiative Bring Kids Back UA. The stories of these children vividly demonstrate that Russia is trying by all means to destroy the Ukrainian nation — through the imposition of propaganda and hatred towards Ukraine, threats to families to take away their children, forced conscription of our young boys into the Russian army», - Zarivna noted.
She shared that 16-year-old Vitaliy skipped school to avoid being forcibly taken to the city and put on the military register, as happened to his classmates.
«The family of 14-year-old Artem was essentially held hostage by the occupation — he was not issued documents without which it was impossible to leave the TOT. However, when the occupiers kidnapped his mother, it became clear that they needed to leave at any cost. Fortunately, the boy was able to be taken out, but his father remained under occupation», - Zarivna reported.
She specified that the return of the children was made possible thanks to the coordinated work of Save Ukraine and the partners involved.
«These are just two of many thousands of stories. We must stop these horrific crimes by Russia against our children and bring them home. All of them. Without exceptions or conditions», - added the adviser to the Head of the Office of the President.
