Zelenskyy and Scholz discussed security guarantees for Ukraine
Specific security guarantees are extremely important for Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed this issue with the Chancellor of Germany on December 2, when Olaf Scholz visited our country on an official visit.
The politicians spoke at a joint press conference after the negotiations.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the conversation with the German Chancellor was lengthy.
He raised the issue of "how important it is for us to have serious security guarantees."
"I was quite open on the issue of NATO, regarding our security guarantees, and also on what and whom we believe in, and whom we will never trust again," the president noted.
Zelenskyy did not disclose specific details. "Let these moments remain between us," Zelenskyy emphasized.
