SSU suspects "Globino" of cooperating with a Russian company
As previously reported, on November 27, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine conducted searches at the office of LLC "Globinskyi Meat Plant", seizing documents. It has now become known that the company is suspected of using a scheme to supply sausage casings from Russia under the guise of products manufactured in Europe.
This is reported by the publication "Telegraf".
According to data from sources in law enforcement agencies, "Globino" imported polyamide sausage casing "Amiflex T-3 Print", which is identical in characteristics to the Russian casing "Amicel" produced by the company "Atlantis-Pak". The packaging indicates that the product is manufactured by the Latvian company SIA "DCL", however, according to the investigation, this labeling is fictitious.
The casing was sold through affiliated companies under a different nomenclature to avoid scrutiny from tax and law enforcement authorities. Sources claim that the company’s actions may be qualified under Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine as aiding an aggressor state.
"Telegraf" editorial tried to obtain a comment from official representatives of LLC "Globinskyi Meat Plant", but the company refused to comment on the situation. Meanwhile, we leave the opportunity for company representatives to provide an official comment to the publication. According to our sources, the investigation is ongoing, and the SBU is analyzing the seized documents to confirm these facts.
