Ukrainian airline to start flights from Moldova to Europe for Ukrainian citizens
The airline SkyUp Airlines announced the launch of a program of direct regular flights for Ukrainians from Chisinau (Moldova) to popular European cities.
This is stated in the company’s press release.
The beginning of flights is planned for April 2025, and ticket booking will be available from December 11, 2024.
The destinations include cities in Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, and Cyprus. Among them are: Paris, Lisbon, Barcelona, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Larnaca, Thessaloniki, and Heraklion.
Due to the closure of Ukraine’s airspace to civil aviation, SkyUp has chosen Chisinau airport as the closest international hub to Ukraine.
Schedule of flights from Chisinau:
- Paris, France (BVA): Monday, Friday.
- Lisbon, Portugal (LIS): Friday.
- Barcelona, Spain (BCN): Wednesday (with a subsequent increase in frequency).
- Alicante, Spain (ALC): Monday, Friday.
- Palma de Mallorca, Spain (PMI): Wednesday, Saturday.
- Larnaca, Cyprus (LCA): three times a week.
- Thessaloniki, Greece (SKG): Tuesday.
- Heraklion, Greece (HER): Monday, Wednesday, Saturday (with the prospect of increasing to four flights a week).
