Zaporizhzhya is preparing for defense, fortifications are being constructed around the city.
It seems the threat is serious. This was reported by the former company commander of the "Aidar" battalion, ATO veteran, and director of the National Antarctic Scientific Center, Yevhen Dykyi, on the "Ranok.LIVE" broadcast.
According to him, the enemy has been concentrating near Orikhove for some time now — a key point on the road to the city. The expert noted that if the Russians capture this village, it would open the way to Zaporizhzhya for them.
"However, it seems that our command is taking this threat very seriously. Approximately one and a half to two weeks ago, the head of the Zaporizhzhya regional administration was already reporting on the digging of defensive structures around the city itself. So, the positive news is that the administration is preparing to defend Zaporizhzhya, but the extremely negative news is that we are forced to prepare Zaporizhzhya for defense," Dykyi emphasized.
