Elite Russian intelligence officers were captured by the Azov forces

Fighters of the 2nd Battalion of the 12th Brigade "Azov" captured five occupiers during a combat mission in the Toretsk direction.

The National Guard of Ukraine released the corresponding video on December 15.

"The Russians turned out to be far from ordinary ’mobilized’ or ’convicts’. They were decorated and experienced scouts who resisted the Azov fighters for several days. In the end, the group commander was eliminated, and his subordinates chose to preserve their lives and surrendered", the statement said.

In captivity, the Russians spoke about their ’achievements’ in the war and the constant orders from command for the execution of both prisoners of war and civilians.
