Pensioners among IDPs can undergo physical identification via video call

Pensioners who were granted IDP status before February 24, 2022, and receive payments through JSC "Oschadbank" must undergo physical identification every 6 months.

This can be done remotely via video conferencing, reports the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

To undergo physical identification via video communication, an IDP pensioner needs to:

• submit an application for identification in video conference mode by filling out an electronic form on the web portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine or by calling the contact center at: 0800 503 753, (044) 281-08-70, (044) 281-08-71;
• wait for a response from the PFU to the email address or personal account on the web portal indicating the date and time of the video conference;
• undergo video identification in the application convenient for the pensioner: Google Meet, Signal, Skype, Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp, or Zoom;
• the PFU body makes a decision regarding the passage or non-passage of the identification by the pensioner and informs about this via email or in the personal account on the web portal.

The PFU notes that physical identification can be completed in person by going to an "Oschadbank" branch or a PFU service center with a Ukrainian passport. Pensioners abroad can contact a foreign diplomatic institution; there is also the option to undergo identification on the PFU portal using a qualified electronic signature generated in the Diya.Signature mobile application of the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services.
