Procedures without a doctor’s referral in medical institutions will be subject to a fee

Starting January 1, all procedures in medical institutions will be paid without a referral from a doctor.

This was stated by Nataliya Lisnevska, a lawyer and former Deputy Minister of Health, on Kyiv-24.

According to her, only a doctor can determine how important the service is for the patient.

Lisnevska noted that procedures guaranteed by the state will remain free, all others will be paid additionally.
