The authorities are planning to shut down the military public page DeepState by mobilizing its staff into the infantry, according to MP Maryana Bezuhla.
She claims that the commander-in-chief is behind this decision.
"Syrskyi, instead of reinforcing defensive positions, has begun an offensive against the DeepState team - the last bastion of more or less reliable information about the front line. The plans include: mobilizing the DeepState team (no people in the infantry - no problem). Appeals to the SSU and law enforcement agencies regarding the disclosure of information (no OSINT activity here). Comprehensive discreditation of the project (the General Staff has its own truth and ’controlled’ situation). Closing the project (Why all these maps? Enough of distorted reports)," Bezuhla states.
It should be noted that over the past week, the Deep State map has been updated noticeably less frequently. The last update was on December 21st.
The public page last commented on the situation on the front line on December 19th.
Typically, the Telegram channel updated the map daily and provided comments on the situation at the fronts, reporting on new advances by Russian forces.
