President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Ukrainians on the upcoming Christmas. In his address, he mentioned the fate of composer Mykola Leontovych, who gave the world "Shchedryk," and also highlighted the real intentions of the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin.
This was announced through the official website of the President of Ukraine.
“For the second time in modern history, Christmas unites all Ukrainians. Today we stand together. We will not be lost. In person or in thought, we greet each other, call our parents, kiss our children, embrace our relatives, and remember those close to us. In person, at a distance, or in the heart – Ukrainians are together today. And as long as we do this, evil has no chance,” said the President.
He emphasized that “our unity and warmth towards one another are the true spirit of Christmas. It’s a unique atmosphere that we will preserve within us, regardless of anything. And we’ll share it with those around us.”
