The National Qualifications Agency has approved a professional standard for the position of "military registration inspector". This standard will be mandatory for all companies in Ukraine that plan to hire specialists for this position.

This was announced by Colonel Oleksiy Dudka, a leading specialist in the Department of Military Education and Science of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports ArmiaInform.

He emphasized that according to the legislation, every enterprise in Ukraine is obliged to maintain military registration. However, there are currently over a million enterprises in the country, and there are still not enough specialists who clearly understand their duties in this position. The new professional standard will serve as a kind of guideline for these employees, defining their tasks at all enterprises where military registration is conducted.

Dudka added that the standard registered on December 19 for the "military registration inspector" is a document of national significance.

"Now any company that plans to hire a specialist — a military registration inspector — by familiarizing themselves with this standard, will know what kind of employee they need to engage to ensure their military registration is in order and to avoid fines. Since the state has taken this issue very seriously," Dudka reported.

According to him, before the full-scale invasion, military registration did not receive as much attention as it does now. Dudka explained that due to mobilization and the need to ensure personnel, the state began to pay serious attention to this aspect. However, according to the Colonel, there is still a lack of qualified specialists in this area.

He added that the new professional standard will help organize these issues both for employers who hire such specialists and for conscripted citizens working at enterprises in Ukraine.

The Colonel noted that the new standard will allow specialists holding the position of military registration inspector to clearly explain how to comply with the laws of Ukraine regarding military duty. He also emphasized that these specialists will be able to help avoid fines from the recruitment and social security centers. According to him, this standard will serve as a guide for those who do not yet have enough knowledge to fully resolve mobilization issues in the country.

Dudka emphasized that enterprises, having acquainted themselves with the new standard, should send their specialists for training. According to him, there are about twenty educational institutions in Ukraine that conduct qualification courses on this topic. After completing such courses, specialists from the enterprises will be able to meet the requirements of the new standard. Dudka is confident that this will improve the quality of mobilization work at all levels, from small enterprises to government structures.
