Ukrainian state debt reached 160 billion dollars

This was reported by the Ministry of Finance.

During November 2024, the amount of Ukraine’s debt increased by 231.12 billion hryvnias in equivalent, and the debt increased by 4.37 billion dollars in dollar equivalent.

Since the beginning of the year, the state debt has risen by 1.125 trillion hryvnias or 14.43 billion dollars.

Borrowings in November

In November, 6.678 billion dollars were received into the government’s foreign currency accounts in the NBU. Of this amount:

• 4.788 billion dollars - from the World Bank (U.S. aid)
• 1.350 billion dollars from the United States;
• 235.0 million dollars – from Japan;
• 191.9 million dollars – from the issuance of foreign currency government bonds;
• 99.9 million dollars – from South Korea;

12.9 million dollars – from other partners.

The average exchange rate increased by 0.3% over the month to 41.35 UAH/USD.
