In the Kursk region, North Korean special forces operative Gyong Hong Jong was eliminated by the SOF operators, leaving behind a notebook that is now being gradually translated. These notes reveal that North Korea has sent elite fighters to Russia.

This was reported on Facebook by the Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is likely that the serviceman was sent to Russia as part of "atonement" for a fault. This indicates the strict discipline and repressive system in the North Korean army.

Additionally, the notes of the North Korean soldier suggest that North Korea is sending not ordinary soldiers but trained special forces operatives, emphasizing the importance of this mission for Pyongyang.

The soldier also expresses doubts about his participation, highlighting the moral dilemma and lack of identification with the goals of Russia’s war.

I will go to the front line in this operation, and I will unconditionally carry out the orders of the supreme commander-in-chief Kim Jong Un, even if it costs me my life. I will show the world the invincible courage and sacrifice of the Red Special Forces (Red Commanders) of Kim Jong Un.

When we win the war and return to the homeland, I will submit a petition to the party," the post states.
