"Falsification of data and inhumane treatment": Kharkiv entrepreneur shared his experience of going through the Military Medical Commission

Kharkiv businessman Kostyantyn Synenko shared his experience of undergoing a medical commission with diabetes and hypertension.

«For most doctors from the MMC, a special place in hell is prepared. One of them turned out to be honest — it was the therapist. The rest were extremely unpleasant people (and that’s putting it mildly)», he wrote on social media.

Synenko noted that despite his flat feet and leg pain, the surgeon claimed that he «examined the legs and found nothing». «After this visit to the «healer», I immediately signed up for an X-ray and a visit to the traumatologist. The next morning, with a conclusion in hand, I forced him to correct his lies», the businessman shared.

Then, in the military commissariat’s laboratory, the test results were falsified. With diabetes, the man’s sugar level rose to 17, while the norm is up to 6.2. The MMCrecorded a result of 5.7.

«I had taken precautions in advance and submitted the same tests to «Sinevo» half an hour earlier. The next day, seeing the forgery, I caused a scandal with the MMCadministration and the lab. Eventually, they corrected everything. Unfortunately, I didn’t decide to pursue criminal charges against them at that time», Synenko noted.

After the scandal in the lab, the man’s blood pressure rose to a critical level of 200/120, but the military commissariat cardiologist refused to send him to the hospital. «My family doctor intervened and issued a referral for emergency hospitalization», Synenko writes, who subsequently spent three weeks in the cardiology department.

After treatment, he continued undergoing the MMC. However, «the ophthalmologist also turned out to be an unpleasant person», refusing to record the retina damage caused by diabetes in the documents. «I had to cause another scandal, and only in the presence of the commission’s head did she add it to the report», Synenko reported.

The only doctor who confirmed the previous diagnoses was the therapist. As a result, Synenko was recognized as limited fit for service during wartime.

«Conclusions: be prepared for any surprises, such as falsified lab data, ignored complaints, and «inhumane» treatment. Prepare all necessary documents. Make sure that all diagnoses are recorded in the state register.

Find and study the order that lists diseases exempt from mobilization. There are also explanations used by doctors — find them. If you have a lawyer, prepare with them in advance», advises the entrepreneur.

He also shared the story of his storekeeper Viktor, who was initially removed from the register due to his health condition but was later «caught», re-registered, and sent to the frontline despite having severe strabismus.

«Initially, they even tried to train him in machine gunnery. Viktor died the day after arriving at the front. Eternal memory», concluded Synenko.
