The invaders seized the building of the strategically important mine No. 3 near Pokrovsk
This information is reported by a military officer with the call sign "Muchnyi". The mine is located in the village of Pishchane.
The company "Metinvest" announced its closure due to the approaching front as early as December 12. It noted that half of all coal production was extracted here.
The Pokrovsk Mine Administration owns the only mines in Ukraine where coking coal is extracted, which is necessary for metal smelting. Another similar mine is located in Udachne, nine kilometers west of Pishchane (and approximately six kilometers from the front line).
According to the Deep State map, Pishchane is already partially occupied by the Russian Federation.
