Latvia will provide Ukraine with more than 1000 combat drones
Latvian Defence Minister Andris Spruds announced that a new batch of drones from Latvian manufacturers, intended for dispatch to Ukraine, has already been prepared — that’s over 1,000 units.
He reported this on the social network X.
As explained by the Latvian Defence Minister, these drones are combat units of various types, and he emphasized that joint support for Ukraine together with Latvian drone manufacturers will continue.
«Latvia and the United Kingdom are leading the drone coalition. In 2025, Latvia will allocate an additional 20 million euros for the purchase of drones under the coalition’s framework», noted Spruds.
