Russia announced a prisoner exchange according to the "150 for 150" formula

The Russian Ministry of Defence announced a prisoner exchange with Ukraine in a 150 for 150 format.

"On December 30, as a result of the negotiation process... 150 Russian servicemen have been returned. In exchange, 150 POWs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been transferred," the statement said.

Furthermore, the Russian Ministry of Defence added that "in the return of Russian servicemen from capture, humanitarian mediation efforts were provided by the United Arab Emirates."

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence or General Staff have not yet confirmed the information from the Russian side.
