Residents of Pokrovsk were urged to evacuate immediately

According to the military man, the situation in the city has been very difficult in recent days.

The Russians have become more active near Pokrovsk - for the last two days, the city has been under constant shelling, and FPV drone attacks have intensified. This was reported on the air of "Kyiv24" by Ukrainian poet, now military man, Pavlo Vyshebaba.

"Especially in the last two days, the situation in Pokrovsk is very difficult. The New Year began with difficulties. There are constant shellings and a significantly increased number of FPV drones that fly right into the city. These are dozens of FPV drones," he said.

At the same time, as the military man emphasized, there are still many people in the city.  Vyshebaban explained that their presence complicates the work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in defending the city.

"These FPV drones land somewhere (in the city) and explode somewhere. We cannot ignore this. We must stop these iron birds of death. However, there are still local residents there. And this, of course, complicates the work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Vyshebaba noted.

He urged the city’s residents to evacuate while there is an opportunity.

"I would urge local residents, if not for your own safety, if you are such fatalists and do not want to protect yourself, then please do it for the sake of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whom you hinder in defending the city. Evacuation will help in the defence of Pokrovsk," the military man emphasized.
