In the village of Krasnokutsk in the Bohodukhiv district of the Kharkiv region, three people were injured and houses were damaged overnight due to the crash of a Russian UAV "Geran".

This was reported in a Telegram post by the Kharkiv region police.

«Krasnokutsk village, Bohodukhiv district. January 5, 01:45: crash of UAV «Geran». As a result of the explosion, 4 private residential houses were damaged. Among the injured are two women aged 59 and 77, and a 33-year-old man. They have an acute stress reaction. Assistance was provided on the spot», the report says.

The police recalled that on the previous day, January 4, a civilian man was killed by a rocket attack from the "Uragan" MLRS in the village of Kivsharivka in the Kupiansk district.

Throughout the past day, Russian military continued to shell border and frontline areas of the Kharkiv region. The enemy used GAB, MLRS, FPV drones, and UAVs against the civilian population. Thus, in Kupyansk, residential buildings were damaged by artillery shelling at 07:50, later power lines were damaged from an FPV drone attack, and a "Molniya" UAV damaged a vehicle and road surface.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine, Kharkiv investigators have recorded nearly 22,670 crimes related to Russia’s armed aggression in the Kharkiv region in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.

The police also reported that on January 4, they evacuated 12 residents, including one child, from dangerous areas of the Kharkiv region.
