The occupiers shelled Sumy region nine times: houses were damaged
At night and in the morning of January 5, the Russians attacked the Sumy region nine times using GABs, mortars, and MLRS. Thirty-five explosions were recorded, and three private houses in the Yampil community were damaged.
This was reported by the press service of the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram.
"At night and in the morning, the Russians carried out nine shellings of border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. Thirty-five explosions were recorded. The Khotyn, Krasnopillya, Novoslobidske, Seredyno-Buda, and Yampil communities were shelled," the report states.
It is reported that the enemy dropped GABs on the settlements of the Seredyno-Buda, Yampil, and Novoslobidske communities. The Khotyn community was struck with MLRS (14 explosions). The Russians dropped nine mines on the territory of the Krasnopillya community.
