On the night of Monday, January 6, 2025, there was a prolonged alert in the Cherkasy region. Air defense forces repelled another enemy air attack.

This was reported in the Telegram channel by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.

According to preliminary data, 10 Russian UAVs were destroyed in the region.

Fortunately, there were no casualties.

According to the data from the Regional Military Administration, fragments from the downed drones caused damage to property in several settlements. In particular, in the Zvenyhorodka area, windows in two private residential buildings were damaged. In the Cherkasy district, the roof of a warehouse where grain was stored was damaged.
