"Ukrenergo": Electricity consumption is increasing again
Today, electricity consumption has increased due to the cold weather, and emergency repair work on energy facilities after the Russian attacks continues.
This was reported by the press service of "Ukrenergo" on Monday, January 6.
"Today, January 6, electricity consumption as of 9:30 AM was 5.6% higher than at the same time on the last working day - Friday, January 3. This is due to the decrease in temperature in most regions compared to the end of last week," the statement noted.
The company reminded that the Ukrainian energy system is currently recovering from thirteen large-scale missile and drone attacks by the Russians over the past year.
Emergency repair work on energy facilities is ongoing. Energy workers are making every effort to bring damaged equipment back online and replace the equipment destroyed by the enemy as quickly as possible.
At the same time, it is reported that the situation in the energy system may change.
