The wife of the NABU director is connected to a criminal group that is being sought by the bureau

It turned out that the wife of NABU Director Kryvonos is the head of several firms that belong to one of the leaders of the Kryvyi Rih criminal group, Eduard Samotkal, who is wanted by the bureau.

This is a direct conflict of interest, – wrote journalist and serviceman Volodymyr Boyko.

The Kryvonos family – his wife, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law – have long and closely cooperated with the Kryvyi Rih criminal group "Dvadtsyativski," one of the leaders of which is Eduard Samotkal, a very colorful entrepreneur with numerous convictions, who is currently wanted by NABU in a case concerning the embezzlement of funds from the South Ukrainian NPP, - Boyko

He presented a list of firms headed by Kryvonos’ wife – Halyna Polshynska.

Halyna Polshynska, who was the director of DAAR company s.r.o. (Czech Republic) and Business Perspective Alfa, s.r.o. (Czech Republic), which belong to Eduard Samotkal and his wife Ruslana, was also the director of LLC "Innovative Technological Products," belonging to Ruslana Samotkal, and headed the Kyiv office of Business Perspective Alfa, s.r.o., belonging to Eduard Samotkal, – this is the wife of the current NABU Director Semen Kryvonos, - Boyko

He reminded that until recently, NABU Director Semen Kryvonos was known only for being wanted, brought to criminal responsibility, and convicted in 2009 for bribing students in local elections in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

But on March 6, 2023, the criminal authority Eduard Samotkal pulled a truly lucky ticket: the director of NABU became the husband and son-in-law of his trusted persons. After that, the so-called anti-corruption activists immediately fell silent and are no longer interested in why NABU has not yet achieved the deportation to Ukraine of the embezzler of the South Ukrainian NPP funds and has not even detained Samotkal’s accomplices – the mother and daughter Polishchynski, - the journalist
