In the night leading up to Tuesday, January 14, drones attacked the city of Engels in the Saratov region of Russia. The attack caused damage to an industrial enterprise.

This was reported by propaganda Telegram channels and the governor of the region, Roman Busargin.

According to Busargin, an industrial enterprise in Engels was affected by the UAV attack. Emergency and operational services are working in an intensified mode. He later added that schooling in Saratov and Engels would be conducted remotely.

The governor of the Saratov region did not specify details about the target of the attack. However, according to local residents, drones attacked an oil depot in Engels, which had been struck by drones on January 8.

One witness recorded the moment of the attack on the Russian Engels.

Later, local residents reported a fire at the oil depot in Engels. The scale of the resulting fire is currently unknown.

It is noted that the drone strike that night targeted not only the industrial enterprise in Engels, Saratov region. The Russians reported a drone attack on Kazan as well. A large fire broke out in the area of the "Kazan Orgsinthez" plant, which specializes in the production of strong plastics. It is likely that the drones hit a liquefied gas storage facility.
