
It is proposed to extend the martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine from February 8 for another 90 days.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted draft laws to the Verkhovna Rada regarding the extension of martial law and mobilization in Ukraine. This is confirmed by the data on the parliament’s website on Tuesday, January 14.
"To approve the decree of the President of Ukraine dated January 14, 2025, No. 26/2025 on the extension of martial law in Ukraine," is stated in the text of the draft law registered under No. 12404.
The decree refers to the extension of martial law in Ukraine "from 05:30 on February 8, 2025, for 90 days."
Under No. 12405, a draft law is registered to approve another decree of the head of state - on the extension of the term for conducting general mobilization.
"To partially amend Article 3 of the decree of the President of Ukraine dated February 24, 2022, No. 65/2022 on general mobilization... to extend the term for conducting general mobilization from February 8, 2025, for 90 days," is stated in the text of the decree.
