Changes among law enforcement officers to military personnel may not happen, - OC "West"
The spokesperson of Operational Command "West" emphasized that each structural unit must perform its role, and it takes several months to train specialists.
The rotation of law enforcement officers into the military may not take place because training a new specialist takes more time than 3-4 months.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the Operational Command "West", Oleh Dombrovskyi, on the "Novyny.LIVE" broadcast.
He noted that there is no point in arguing about the calls to strengthen the Defence Forces of Ukraine with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The military added that each component of the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine performs its task. These tasks should be carried out by qualified professionals trained by the state.
"It is impossible to prepare a specialist in three or four months who can perform, for example, a security function in territorial communities or at energy infrastructure facilities," Oleh Dombrovskyi emphasized.
According to him, this is a very complex set of measures that cannot be resolved here and now. The state is working on this systematically and comprehensively.
