We have to be a priority for the Americans, - Zelenskyy

We should be a priority for Americans, as we are allies of the United States, we are the victims, and Putin is the aggressor, – Zelenskyy on Trump’s desire to engage with Putin.

More points from the President:
- Ukrainians will not be able to start anew without knowing if Putin can go to war again tomorrow;
- We need to speak from a position of strength because starting to talk to him on equal terms is a loss for Ukraine;
- Trump can tell Putin that if he does not stop the war, the US will provide Ukraine with all the weapons we ask for;
- There is no date for a meeting with Trump yet; our teams are in the process of organizing it;
- The US had contacts with Russia at the intelligence level throughout all the years of the war;
- I support the idea of a foreign contingent in Ukraine to ensure security. But it must be at least 200,000 troops;
- Legally, we will never recognize the occupied territories. This is impossible. This is our firm position.
