Russia was attacked by over 120 drones overnight

On the night of January 24, Russia experienced a record drone attack since the beginning of the year. The Russian Ministry of Defence declared that over 120 drones were "destroyed" in 12 regions, as well as over the occupied Crimea.

This was reported by Russian media and Telegram channels.

According to the Ministry of Defense, 37 drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, 20 over the Ryazan region, 17 each over the Kursk and Saratov regions, 7 over the Rostov region, 6 each over the Moscow and Belgorod regions, 3 over the Voronezh region, 2 each over the Tula, Oryol, and Lipetsk regions, one in Moscow, and another over the occupied Crimea. Additionally, in the morning, the local authorities of the Leningrad region reported two more drones shot down.

Due to the attack, ten airports temporarily suspended their operations, including Moscow’s "Domodedovo", "Vnukovo" and "Zhukovskiy", as well as in Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Penza, Samara, Saratov, Ufa, and Ulyanovsk.
