For special forces, a new winter camouflage uniform is being developed, - Ministry of Defence

The Ministry of Defence continues to develop new clothing supply elements for the Armed Forces of Ukraine that meet modern requirements. The project of the technical specification for the new winter camouflage suit "Type C" has been completed.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defence.

It is noted that the new suit is intended for use in field conditions during the execution of combat tasks by special forces units in the winter period.

The development of the suit is based on the results of military (research) tests, taking into account the comments and wishes of servicemen.

The new model is equipped with improved camouflage elements and design solutions that allow the suit to perform an additional camouflage function. The loose fit ensures maximum freedom of movement, conceals the human contours, and allows it to be used as outer clothing.

Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov reported that during 2024, the Ministry of Defence developed and approved 28 technical specifications for clothing supply items, including a lightweight bulletproof vest or adaptive clothing for the wounded.

"The new winter camouflage suit is another step towards creating modern equipment that meets the real needs of our servicemen in combat conditions. This work is based on the practical experience of our defenders and is an important element in strengthening the country’s defence capability," he added.
