On January 24, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Olha Kuryshko as the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

This was reported in the decree of the President No. 59/2025 and the President’s Representation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

The team of the representation noted that Kuryshko joined in December 2021, heading the Legal Support Department. It is stated that in this position she worked on strategic and programmatic documents regarding the reintegration of the peninsula and actively participated in the development of legal acts aimed at protecting the rights of Crimeans.

"In her new position, Olha Kuryshko, along with the team of the Representation, will continue to implement already initiated initiatives and will work on strengthening the body in its key mission — the de-occupation of Crimea, the protection of the rights of its residents, the indigenous peoples of Ukraine, and the support of reintegration processes," assured the President’s Representation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

They reported that since 2023 Kuryshko held the position of Deputy Permanent Representative, and from December 5, 2024, she performed the duties of the Permanent Representative.
