Israel has denied reports of transferring captured weapons to Ukraine

Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel Sharen Haskel proposed to the parliament to transfer Russian weapons captured on the fronts in Lebanon, Gaza, and other regions to Ukraine.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel, Yevhen Korniychuk, thanked for this initiative, calling it an important step in strengthening cooperation and recognizing common threats.

Subsequently, there were reports in the media about the beginning of arms transfers. According to sources, in recent days several American military aircraft departed from Ramstein Air Base in Germany to the Hatzerim Air Base in Israel and then proceeded to Rzeszów, Poland, on the border with Ukraine.

However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel refuted this information, stating that the country’s policy regarding the transfer of weapons to Kyiv remains unchanged. A representative of the department emphasized that the reports about the supplies are unfounded, and Israel continues to refrain from transferring military equipment to Ukraine.
