In the capital’s service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, schemes for selling "guaranteed" driver’s licenses were uncovered

In the capital, two criminal schemes related to "influence trading" in MIA service centers were uncovered. Driving instructors offered assistance in passing exams and fake training in driving schools for money. Law enforcement gathered evidence and detained the criminals during the receipt of funds. All suspects have been charged.

This became known from a statement by the Kyiv police press service.

As noted, one of the schemes was organized by a driving instructor who offered his students guaranteed passing of theoretical and practical exams. 

"He assured that he had acquaintances who were on good terms with the head of one of the service centers in Cherkasy region. Therefore, his students were guaranteed to pass the theoretical and practical exam. After obtaining consent, the offender directed "clients" to his accomplices, who supposedly organized the successful passing of exams for $1,000," police said.

Additionally, the instructor offered fake training in a driving school, which was also supposed to guarantee successful exam passing. As a result, operatives from the Kyiv City Department of Internal Security and investigators from the Holosiiv District Police Department collected the necessary evidence and exposed all the suspects involved.

Another case involves a 39-year-old Kyiv resident who guaranteed training in a driving school without actual attendance of classes for money. It is reported that his clients received documents about fake course completion, after which they could easily pass the exams in the capital’s TSCs. The man was detained while receiving part of the funds.
