The mayor of Irpin, Markushyn, was suspended from his position for 2 months

The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has temporarily removed the mayor of Irpin, Oleksandr Markushyn, from his duties during the investigation. The preventive measure will be in effect until March 22, 2025.

He shared this on Telegram.

"Judge Svitlana Hrechana of the Pechersk District Court, after a lengthy court session, reviewing every piece of evidence and refuting the accusation by my lawyers, made the decision to remove me from managing the Irpin community during the investigation of my departure abroad in 2022," Markushyn emphasized.

He stated that the court’s decision will definitely be appealed in the near future.
