The Defence Forces destroyed 29 enemy UAVs, 14 - lost location-wise
The Defence Forces shot down 29 out of 57 Shahed-type strike drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles, with another 14 lost locationally.
This was reported by the press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
«As of 09:30, the destruction of 29 Shahed-type strike UAVs and other types of drones has been confirmed in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions. 14 enemy decoy drones are locationally lost (without negative consequences). As a result of the enemy attack, the Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Sumy regions were affected», the message says.
The press service noted that the enemy attacked with a total of 57 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia, Chauda - Crimea, as well as a ballistic missile «Iskander-M» from Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile firing groups of the Air Forces and Defence Forces of Ukraine.
