Journalist on the situation in the Pokrovsk direction: Russia’s advance has been halted

The Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to push back the Russians slightly on the northern outskirts of Kotlyne in the Donetsk region.

This was reported by military journalist Bohdan Miroshnykov on January 31.

«The further advance of the occupiers on the railway from Kotlyne to Pokrovsk has been blocked. However, before that, they managed to advance approximately 1.5 km from the village. Exhausting battles for both sides continue in Udachne,» Miroshnykov noted.

In Zvirove, Ukrainian soldiers also managed to regain previously lost positions up to 400 meters in depth.

«The overall picture is still very discouraging, but it is beginning to feel that the Operational and Strategic Group of Forces «Khortytsia» is in reliable hands,» Miroshnykov added.
