Finland will provide Ukraine with a military aid package worth nearly 200 million euros

Finland announced the delivery of the 27th defence assistance package to Ukraine, worth approximately 198 million euros, as reported by the Finnish Ministry of Defence.

According to the ministry’s website, replacing the capabilities included in the package will cost Finland approximately 198 million euros. The total value of defense materials that Finland has already delivered to Ukraine now amounts to 2.5 billion euros.

This package, valued at nearly 200 million euros, was developed in close cooperation with the Ukrainians. We provide the support that will help Ukraine defend itself in a difficult situation on the front line, noted Defence Minister Antti Häkkänen. 

To ensure the safety of the aid delivery, additional information about the specific content, method of delivery, or schedule of assistance is not disclosed.

The aid took into account both Ukraine’s needs and the situation of the Finnish Defence Forces.
