In the Sumy region, three police officers were killed as a result of a Russian airstrike, the regional military administration reports on Telegram.
«On the night of January 31 to February 1, the enemy launched an airstrike on the Yunakivka community. As a result of the Russian attack, 2 patrol police officers on duty in the community’s settlements were killed. Later, the body of another police officer was found under the rubble», – the message states.
On the night and morning of February 1, Russian troops attacked several Ukrainian regions, including hitting a residential building in Poltava, in Kharkiv, and causing damage in Zaporizhzhya, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Kyiv regions. There are dead and wounded.
Russian military regularly attack Ukrainian regions using various types of weapons – strike UAVs, missiles, GABs, MLRS.
The Russian leadership denies that the Russian army is deliberately striking civilian infrastructure in cities and villages of Ukraine during the full-scale war, killing civilians and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, as well as energy and water supply facilities.
Ukrainian authorities and international organizations classify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are deliberate.
